Stopped in June 1940, Bonne Presse editions are republishing Bayard in December 1946. This will be the first serie after the war. There will be three in all. From 1946 to 1956, then from 1956 to 1961 and finally from 1961 to 1962 (year the publication ended). Bayard will then be replaced by the monthly Record to compete with Pilote. Bayard is a newspaper for young people illustrated with comics (Mic Mac, Tony sextant ...) which comes out every sunday. Present in more than forty issues, Lassalvy collaborated with this weekly journal between 1955 and 1962. His collaboration will then continue with the magazine Record until 1965. Here are some early cartoons by Lassalvy published in Bayard during this period. No translation available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
